1930s Pace’s Races Horse Racing MachineA mid-1930s Pace's Races Horse Racing Machine. This machine was originally made by the Pace Manufacturing Company out of Chicago, Illinois. It has been fully restored, and is in full working condition. The Pace's Races was one of the earliest of the horse racing machines. This nickel coin-op machine allows up to 7 players at a time to play. Each player picks their favorite horse, and enters the gameplay by placing a nickel into the corresponding slot. All of the horse names featured were actually real-life, prize-winning horses. Choose from Regret, Equipoise, Man-O-War, Black-Gold, Sunbeau, Plucky-Girl, or Cavalcade. In between where the horses' names are on the machine, is a rotating odds bar. Once the game begins, the odds reel spins to reveal the odds for each horse for that race. One side of the machine features a glass panel to display the intricate mechanics of the machine. We do have the original wood panel available. This machine is a lot of fun, a true rarity that would be a fantastic addition for any game room.
