Walter Mader Dog Group.

A Rare Swiss “Black Forest” Dog Group carved by Walter Mader of Brienz, Switzerland, circa 1900.  Walter Mader is famous for his life like carvings of dogs.  His ability to capture the expressions and movement of dogs is incredible.  Some of his works are pictured in “Swiss Carvings, The Art of the Black Forest” by Daniels.
