The body of the case, which stands on a black marble base, has windows, a front door and a textured surface resembling a stone structure with pierced brass railing along the walk way. The three and a half inch dial of the timepiece is silvered with black hour numerals and black hands rounding a brass eight day spring driven time only movement with a platform lever escapement. Right above the timepiece is an aneroid barometer. The barometer has a three inch silvered dial and a thermometer on either side of the clock.
