A rare hand polished double life-size training model of a Browning M1919 .30 caliber machine gun made by Browning, circa 1940.  Serial number 156044.

Training models were built by Browning to instruct a classroom of soldiers on the workings of the gun.

The Browning .30 cal was widely used during the 20th century, especially during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
