A French Industrial Clock by Guilmet of Paris France, circa 1890. The clock was modeled after the Nautilus from Jules Verne – Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, written in 1870.
A separate mechanism to the clock drives the propeller and there is also a ships compass mounted below the Nautilus.
