Late 19th Century Life-Size Stag Head

A Swiss “Black Forest” carved linden wood, life-size stag head trophy set within an oak wreath wall plaque. Circa 1890. A similar one is pictured on page 81 of our book, “Swiss Carvings: The Art of the Black Forest” by Simon and Michael Daniels (2004).
