This pair of 8 x 50 OLA I M/40 binoculars was produced in Stockholm, Switzerland, circa 1940. The instrument is marked with three crowns, which means that it as a military version, and has 90 degree inclined oculars. The piece has been stripped of its original paint coating and expertly hand-polished to achieve the shiny metallic finish.
