Antique Louis Vuitton Trunks & Luggage
Louis Vuitton established his Paris atelier in 1854, and within a generation had built the most celebrated name in luxury travel — its monogram canvas, flat-topped trunk construction, and signature brass hardware becoming the defining language of elite travel for the century that followed. The golden age of the Vuitton trunk spans roughly 1880 to 1940, encompassing the great ocean liner crossings, the Orient Express, and the colonial and expeditionary travel of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Swiss Black Forest Carvings
Daniels Antiques has been collecting and dealing in Swiss Black Forest carvings for over four decades. Simon Daniels is co-author of Swiss Carvings: The Art of the Black Forest, 1820–1940 (2006), the standard reference work on the subject, and every piece in the collection is informed by specialist research, first-hand connoisseurship, and a deep engagement with the field's provenance.

Founded in 1978 by Michael Daniels, Daniels Antiques Aspen opened in downtown Aspen on the Hyman Ave mall in 1998. The shop is run by Michael and Simon Daniels. After publishing a collector’s book on “Swiss Carvings The Art of The Black Forest” in 2006 we have continued to build and curate exceptional collections. Today these collections span from the decorative to historical. Sir Winston Churchill to Prohibition cocktail shakers.

Daniels Antiques has maintained a presence in South Florida since 1978, making it one of the longest-established luxury antiques businesses in the region. The Las Olas gallery — situated on Fort Lauderdale's most celebrated boulevard — is run by Jonathan Daniels, whose twenty-five years in the trade have made him a respected authority on vintage gaming machines, Art Deco lighting, and Second World War binoculars. The collection spans the full breadth of the Daniels inventory: from early cast iron slot machines and original WWII anti-aircraft binoculars to vintage Louis Vuitton trunks and Swiss Black Forest carvings of the highest order.
